GMC Srinagar’s PG Dept of MAS gets national recognition | KNO

Srinagar, Feb 15 (KNO): The Post Graduate department of minimal access and general surgery (MAS), Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar has got national recognition on Saturday. As per the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), in a recognition of surgical procedure being conducted at Government Medical College Srinagar, Prof Iqbal Saleem Chief of Surgery delivered an oration at 113th foundation day at King George Medical University Lucknow. Dr Saleem was later felicitated by the department of general surgery KGMU Lucknow for a procedure that is being conducted at GMC Srinagar for choledocholithiasis or stones in the common bile duct. This oration was in the name of Prof Goel and Pror Iqbal was honoured by Partha Sarathi, Principal Secretary Health and Medical Education, Govt of Uttar Pradesh, Prof Nityanand, Vice Chancellor KGMU, Prof Sonkar head of department of Surgery KGMU. The oration was delivered at Atal Bihari Vajpayee convention centre Lukhnow—(KNO)
